You Can Expect From the NCAA 2010 Football

NCAA college football has a new game coming out. NCAA Football 2010 is an up and coming game in the college football video game genre. NCAA Football 2010 is expected to hit the shelves this 14th of July, and there has been a lot of hype about this game in the net. So what should we expect from this upcoming game?

To start things off, the game comes with the “create a school” feature which is more of creating your own team. This feature will satisfy many fans’ cravings for creating their own team. What better way to enjoy the game than creating your own team. Pick the uniforms, pick the plays, and of course, pick the players. There are so much more features you could customize when creating your own team. This feature is one that most gamers are looking forward to.

Next up is the “Team Specific Entrance” feature. This is exactly what the feature says it is. It pumps you up before the game rather than boring you and forcing you to skip straight to the coin toss. It is definitely a feature the game needs to add enthusiasm to the gamers.

The “Pregame information” feature is a really helpful one. It shows you your players and their stats. It also has the options and settings the game you’re about to play has. It’s really helpful and user-friendly. This feature will make it easier for you to set the game settings to match your taste.

The game also has improved battle when in the trenches. This might be one of the biggest changes in the game. Fans will be happy with this new engine the game has. It gives you the realism the real game has when in the trench. Not the same thing you’ll see over and over again in the past NCAA Football games. It’s a feature we will all be anticipating to try. This is definitely a plus for this upcoming game.

You will likewise see halftime highlights in the game. This is a feature that will show you the best tackles, touchdowns, and plays you and your opponents did in the first half. This feature will pump you up to do better on the second half of the game.

The “in game information” feature is also present. See your scores and stats while playing the game. This feature will keep you updated with how you’re doing in the game. This will prevent you from being lost and not knowing what to do in game.

And of course, the “post game highlights” feature. See all the highlights from the whole game. You could see all the highlights from the game winning touchdowns to the game saving tackles. This feature is quite a good one.

These are but a few features you may expect the game to have. There are a lot more features you could expect from the game. All in all, with these features you could expect quite a good video game. So remember, this game will hit the shelves July 14, 2009.

Questions to Ask When Working with Travel Agents

Using a travel agency to make your vacation or business travel arrangements is becoming more popular. You can save a lot of time and often a great deal of money on hotels, airfare, and other expenses related your trip. However, it is important to choose the right agency if you want to get the highest level of service and the best rates. Here are some questions you should always ask before committing to any travel agency.

Java destination is One of the first things you want to know is how long the agency has been in business. If you find they have been around for at least ten years, there is a good chance that they have had time to establish excellent rapport with most of the major hotel chains, airlines, and other essentials that you are likely to need in order to make the trip a success. Just make sure you do not rely solely on this one factor; even agencies that have been around for years may be more of a niche provider and not right for your particular needs.

Along with how long the agency has been in business, also inquire about their areas of expertise. Ask if they tend to focus more on vacation or work related travel, and if they work more with families or singles when it comes to planning vacations. It is also important to ask them if they are more proficient with national or international travel planning. Answers to these important questions can help to narrow the scope slightly and give you clues as to whether a given agency can provide what you need.

You also want to know if the agency will handle all the bookings associated with the trip. Ideally, the agency will not only arrange airfare and hotel accommodations, but also take care of little details such as reserving a rental car, securing tickets to local amusement parks and other points of interest. If you do not require a rental, a really good agent will make sure there are shuttles to and from your hotel before reserving a room. The advantage to you is that all you have to do is pack a bag and show up when it’s time to depart.

It is also important to invest in an agency that can provide constant support during your trip as well. Make sure the travel agency provides you with a point of contact that can be reached any time of the day or night. This is especially important if you are traveling outside your home country. You want to know that someone can assist you if the rental car breaks down; a connecting flight is delayed, or if there is an emergency that requires you to cut the trip short and get home immediately.

Along with a point of contact, ask if the agency has any local contacts in or near your destination. Often, these local contacts can reach you in the event of an emergency in a short period of time, which will come in handy if you need assistance now rather than later. It is not unusual for travel agencies to establish some local ties in many of the more popular destinations as an added service to their clientele.

Also ask about confirmation packages. Many of the better travel agencies prepare a folder for clients that detail each and every aspect of their travel arrangements. This provides you with everything you need from transportation schedules to reservation information for the hotel and rental car service. Today, you may also find that some agencies will provide a hard copy of this detail as well as electronic documents that you can save on your laptop hard drive and take along as a backup.

Do not forget to ask about any other unusual details that may be necessary to making the trip a success. For example, the agency should be able to tell you about any restrictions that may apply to travel associated with your passport, as well as any local customs you should be aware of. This will indicate that the agents working for the agencies are familiar with your destination and do not have a working knowledge that is only slightly better than your own. An agent that can clue you in to the little things about local culture that will keep you from offending anyone is one of the most valuable travel tools you can utilize.

There is also the matter of travel insurance. Many travel agencies can advise you on what type and how much travel insurance you should secure for the trip. In some cases, the agency may have coverage in place that you can obtain through them. When this is the case, you may be able to secure the coverage at a discounted rate.

The bottom line is that when you work with a travel agency, any question on your mind is a good one. Should you have the feeling that the agency is not receptive to your questions, thank them for their time and find another agency. Along with services and support, the ability to establish rapport and build a positive relationship with the client is essential. Do not settle for anything less, no matter how inexpensive their services seem to be.

Coaching the Perfectionist Young Athlete

Often I hear from athletes or parents of athletes who worry about their or their child's sport performance. Athletes, or parents for that matter, who demand high levels of performance are rarely satisified with incremental levels of performance achievement because they set the standard of acceptable performance extremely high. When the standard is not achieved, they can be very self-critical. These athletes, or parents of athletes have perfectionist traits.

Perfectionistic athletes criticize themselves for making mistakes, often hold high expectations for themselves, get frustrated easily after making mistakes, engage in negative self-talk, are focused on results or outcomes, and rarely enjoy playing their sport.

On the flip side of the coin, these athletes have an incredibly strong work ethic, are highly motivated, committed to their goals, and want nothing more than to learn and improve. It 's this deeply strong work ethic and strong motivation that keeps them from seeing the forest through the trees. In fact, most athletes display at least some ""perfectionistic"" traits at some point in their athletic careers. I know because I was a perfectionist!!

The ""wall"" that blocks these athletes from performing up to their abilities is their extremely high demands for their performance. There is little room for error in the perfectionists performance. Athletes that are perfectionists (try to be perfect), and can undermine their own performance potential very quickly. The strict expectations about their performance drive them to fear failure. When they fear failure they worry too much, are anxious, and stressed out because they worry about pleasing others, or - results - like statistics, goals, scores, or winning become most important. They believe performance results are what makes them ""good"" human beings, and that others will respect them more if they perform to the highest levels.

If you identify yourself as a perfectionist, or if your young athlete has perfectionistic tendencies, it is important to identify the traits that may be self-fulling and blocking their confidence, performance succes, and enjoyment in their sport.

Think about a most recent performance. Did you or your child want to win so bad that the pressure and stress of this demand caused anxiousness at critical performance times in the game? Does the athlete play tentatively, with caution, and unsure about the next move at critical times? Can you see that trying too hard simply sabotages a would be performance success? Is practice an exercise in being perfect or an exercise in learning how to execute? Does the athlete practice hours and hours without achieving success?

One important task to implement...

Parents of or any perfectionistic athlete that is uncomfortable with their performance levels and tries too hard to be like ""Mike"" or ""adhere to"" the demands of others is setting unrealistic goals for their individual level of talent. For these athletes it's all about the ""demand"" of performance rather than setting realistic performance goals and ""striving"" to reach them. The key suggestion for parents and all athletes alike is to replace these ""demanding"" expectations with simple, but challenging and achievable process goals. These goals enhance self-esteem, build confidence, and are designed to improve performance incrementally.

For example, say your athlete believes he or she should pitch to win every game. You might suggest the athlete replace the demand ""I must win every game"" mind set with some simple process oriented objectives: 1) Focus on the target each and every pitch. 2) Commit to being in the present one pitch at a time. 3) Believe you can execute each pitch.

To learn more about ""perfectionism"" and how to help the athlete confront it, and replace it with healthy strategies for success, please send me an email with your questions.

You will learn strategies to help:

1. Decide how much pressure is too much pressure
2. Tools to motivate athletes to master their sport
3. Help kids feel confident in sports and athletics
4. Help athletes to reduce the worry and anxiety about performance.
5. Simple strategies to help athletes cope with anger, frustration, and stress in sports.
6. What happens to athletes when they are burned out.
7. What to do when the coach is very demanding.
8. Provide parents with ideas and strategies communicating to their young athletes.
9. Provide athletes with self-support tools to implement after a defeat or mistake.

Polisi Curigai Orang Dalam Terlibat

Maka dilakukan operasi kembali.

Bank Lengkapi Anti- Skimming

Lucky number Windows 7

The charms of the consumer help-line are few and far between, but this winter I was blessed with a Christmas miracle: after months of maintenance calls, telephone wait lines and soul-crushing elevator music, the Dell Technical Support Team chose to grant my wish in the form of a new “Studio 1515” laptop.

The reason for the benevolence of my Calcutta-based friends was vague; perhaps they were tired of getting my calls-I’m sure the staff knows me by name at this point. Perhaps the globalization that brings a Texas-based computer company to a cubicle in India had sprinkled some Christmas spirit across the west-Asian subcontinent; or maybe they’d just taken pity on me–after all, hell hath no fury like the IT support victim. But at any rate, the offer was made, I gladly accepted, and not long after December 25th the UPS man showed up on my doorstep with that glorious corrugated cardboard box, emblazoned with a message of hope for my computing future: “Dell- Yours is Here.”

However this is not an article about the chaos of the IT help line at Dell computer, but one about what exactly I received in the mail from my favorite PC company this winter- or, rather, what I did not receive.

This is because I, like every college student, Generation-Y member, or frequenter of the independent coffee shop scene, find myself perpetually wrapped in the cutthroat debate that stands poised to define our generation: Mac or PC?

I should begin with a disclaimer; I am not a computer person, I know very little about hard drives and screen resolution, and I have no idea what a motherboard does. However, being an American under the age of 70- and what’s more, one with a Facebook account- I seem to find myself in front of the computer for a good deal of my waking hours typing, clicking, and profile-picturing away. Perhaps this is why I’ve grown so attached to the little plastic box on which I check my e-mails and upload my online assignments- after all, we’ve spent enough time together to almost justify romanticizing a laptop the way a member of a past generation might his hot-rod or his Little-Deuce Coupe or whatever else it was that the Beach Boys were singing about.

So, that said, I, like everyone else in my generation, have picked a side in the great debate- and apparently an unfashionable one at that, judging by the smug disdain of a campus filled with the hip and the trendy, all toting their MacBooks, and their Powerbooks, and whatever other adorably designed computer software Steve Jobs has bestowed upon us this week.

Such is the life of the PC owner- hiding in the shadows with my apparently inferior computer, shamed into self-consciousness over what is ultimately a glorified household appliance. There’s a particular style of disdain, a unique expression of smug superiority that the Macintosh-bearing crowd reserves for the rest of us; even if you can’t quite catch them at it, you can always feel that piercing gaze, and almost hear that mocking voice:

“I just really feel like it’s a more user-friendly experience.” They must think to themselves. “I really prefer the editing features- it’s just necessary because I do a lot of amateur photography and graphic design work; my Mac just really reflects my lifestyle.”

I’d made all the excuses- “it’s the same to me,” “it has such a bigger screen,” “I actually PCs better,” but ultimately to no avail- I’d condemned myself to tote about an ongoing token of my lack of computing finesse, and no excuse could redeem me, because it is, ultimately, agreed that Macs probably do work better, crash less, operate faster and are more user-friendly, and so on and so forth. Thus, I had no option but to accept begrudging defeat at the hands of my self-righteous peers- that is, of course, until that blessed package arrived at my door last month.

Suddenly I was awash in all the features, all the bells and whistles of a brand new and irrefutably beautiful navy-blue and shiny chrome laptop- but best of all, it simply worked faster and better than any other computer. Having come equipped with the excessively hyped Windows 7, I was dubious about whether it would be better than my old laptop, which had come with the similarly advertised (and, as it turned out, detestably bad Windows Vista just one year before; but once I began to use it, I was hooked.

Everything you saw in those obnoxious round the clock commercials is true- you can do the sync the computers together thing, you can do the pop your windows into equal halves of the screen thing, you can do just about anything, it seems; I’m a PC and it sure feels like Windows 7 was my idea.

You can click, you can drag, you can zoom, you can turn, and you can literally plug and play because the moment you open your laptop, the welcome screen is immediately there to greet you. This is not the snail-paced junk that’s always inspired you to buy a new computer just so you could ravage your current one with a baseball bat a la Office Space, but rather a smooth, sleek, sexy beast of a computer. But best of all, of all its tools and tricks, Windows 7 has just about everything that a Mac does, with a few extras of its own (and all for about $780 less, of course). So now, finally, I can trawl the coffee shops around Capitol Hill with pride, or confidently type away on campus without feeling the disdain of a depressingly large subculture of technological self-righteousness.

Solar Eclipse News

Solar Eclipse, For many generations various human cultures have had great knowledge about the star constellations. However, these days most of the so-called modernized breed of human can’t tell you much about what’s around us in the infinite Universe. The funny thing is, technically we now know more about what’s there than ever before, we’ve even got photos. With the Hubble Telescope we now have access to the most unbelievable pictures imaginable: galaxies, nebulae and millions of stars close up. You don’t need to buy a book or DVD to see this stuff, just sit down at your computer and let the Internet take you on a galactic journey.

A lot of the images can be accessed for free just by finding the right sites. At http://wires.news.com.au/special/mm/030811-hubble.htm#panup2 you can watch a stream of beautiful visuals that are literally out of this world. The beauty of the photos, the fact that they are moving, and the musical accompaniment makes the whole trip quite ethereal. The other great aspect is the information the scientists have uncovered, mind-blowing ideas like the fact that some stars are 60 times brighter than our own sun, or the idea that there are thousands of stars in one tiny spot in the sky. The concept that galaxies are 150 million light years away-do you know how fast light travels?

For the average human who spends their existence in one place working hard everyday to make ends meet, life can become somewhat monotonous and insulated. You forget that there’s a whole world out there. The Universe however might be a random thought that only appears once in a month. The stars seem so disconnected to our everyday reality, but the fact is that we are part of a much bigger picture-the biggest picture of all, infinite space. Maybe if we did focus a bit more ‘outside the box’ of our familiar routines we could grasp on to the magic and perfection that surrounds us all the time, the real neighborhood that we belong to.

These are a few more sites I discovered that give us more insight or ‘outsight’ into what is going on around us. Again I find the Internet has become my medium for accessing knowledge about life. Without leaving the office or my house I can travel to the most beautiful places, real places, we’re not talking Star Trek here people! I’ve seen many magical things in my life thus far: snow –capped mountains, rainbows over waterfalls, sunsets on tropical beaches. I’ve seen art, heard music, watched films; I’ve lived a very fortunate life indeed. But, to see these pictures and to learn about the incredible worlds outside our own…on a computer at home…it has taken me to a new level of understanding, new level of reverence for what it is we are part of. The only way to describe these galaxies, stars, and giant gas clouds close up is to speak the word ‘magic’. You will never see real paintings like this, beauty that stretches for millions of miles.

Alhasil, badan mereka berdua pun jadi babak belur.

Quake serves as reminder to prepare

Berita Otomotif, The 5.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico just before 11 a.m. yesterday serves as a good reminder to San Diego County residents to be prepared for natural disasters.

Fortunately, there was no damage reported, but it may have left many San Diegans feeling uncertain about what to do if the big one hits.

“As we were reminded yesterday, earthquakes can occur at any time, so we need to be ready to respond in the event of a true emergency by having a Family Disaster Plan, practicing earthquake responses, and having an emergency kit ready to go in your home and vehicle,” said Ron Lane, Director of the County Office of Emergency Services.

To learn more about how to prepare for an earthquake at home and work, or to download a copy of a Family Disaster Plan get a list of items to include in your emergency kits, and learn about earthquake preparedness, visit the Family section of ReadySanDiego.org. You can also learn more about securing your home by clicking on the earthquake logo and going to the “More Earthquake info” link.

Residents can also register their cell phones on the ReadySanDiego site for AlertSanDiego, the County’s emergency notification system to receive emergency information or instructions during an emergency.

Owen Tertutup Rooney
