Indonesian chess player GM Susanto Megaranto and WGM Irene Kharisma Sukandar play well throughout the Youth Chess Olympiad to-39 in the Tennis Center, hanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Unfortunately, they failed to reach the top three in the event.
Nevertheless, the performance of both players deserve thumbs up. In fact, Irene managed to record his third MI after confronted with opponents who have the rating achieved in 2318, where two of which GM holds a son and two other sons MI.
This 18-year-old chess players also get full 8 digits in 11 innings. Two previous MI norm in Brunei Irene won the International in July-August 2010.
Not much different with Irene, Susanto also carve a brilliant and relatively stable results. He recorded recorded 5 wins and 6 times the mussels. In fact, seven of the eleven opponents is titled chess player GM. Even two of which are included in the Super GM category.
